Uber underground French House label Robsoul Recordings comes to town for their first ever London party.

One of the most respected labels around with a plethora of varied releases spanning both House and Techno, this one off party is certainly not one to miss. There’s a reason why artists like Derrick Carter, DJ Sneak, Mark Farina, David Duriez, No Assembly Firm and Chris Carrier decided to release some of their most underground workings on Robsoul, and that’s because – like its founder Phil Weeks’ live shows – Robsoul aren’t frightened to put out whatever sounds good to the ear.

With a line-up as underground as Robsoul’s output, Phil Weeks takes the opportunity to showcase his own skills alongside label favourite and fellow Frenchman Chirs Carrier. As if that wasn’t enough they are joined by legends Evil Eddie Richards, Dave Mothersole and Pure Science (Live) to make the event truly heavyweight. Acid Casuals complete the line-up over Corsica’s two killer sound systems.

This party is being thrown in association with us at Brand New Fiction and we’ll be implementing Phil’s plans for the evening. Brand New Fiction’s own guests over the last 6 months have included Derrick Carter (twice), Mark Farina, Kenny Hawkes, DJ Sneak, Octave One, Daniel Bell and heaps more, but even by those standards this party is surely the coolest we’ve been involved with so far. We’ve been told to expect special Robsoul touches throughout the night. What this means we don’t even know! But we do know Robsoul parties at the Miami Music Conference have become some of the most infamous in recent years – it’s time to find out why!

Perfect for seeing quality acts up close and personal, Corsica Studios is a venue with character! Sandwiched between a number of brick railway arches the space always has at least two rooms, a large semi-covered outdoor terrace and Funktion One sound systems throughout. You can forget queuing systems to go outside for a smoke, large characterless rooms, overcrowding and over priced drinks … it’s clubbing without over regulation, where you can come and properly let go… it’s clubbing the way it’s supposed to be.
